Dr. Mario Gonzalez
Dr. Mario Gonzalez grew up in Chicago, Illinois. He graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign where he earned the degree of Biochemistry. He then attended the National University of the Health Sciences (NUHS) in Lombard Illinois where in December 2006 he earned the titles of Doctor of Chiropractic and his second Bachelors, this on in Human Biology. While at NUHS, Dr. Gonzalez developed a passion for Applied Kinesiology, Acupuncture, and Functional Blood Chemistry. Doctor Gonzalez later obtained certifications on the above mentioned techniques. During his internship at NUHS-Chicago Clinic he mastered these techniques leading to excellent results for the many patients he cared for. Since graduation, Dr. Gonzalez has continued to expand and apply his knowledge to the cases that come in to the office.
Carlos González, LMT.
Carlos González, Licensed Massage Therapist was raised in the city of Chicago, Illinois. Carlos González, LMT, graduated from the Chicago School of Massage Therapy in 2006 with training in massage therapy. In 2006, Carlos González, LMT also succesfully completed the examination for the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. He obtained his professional license in February of 2007 from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation. Carlos González, LMT has been a good standing member of the American Massage Therapy Association since 2006 and he currently works at the Integrative Health Clinic along side Doctor Mario González.
Dr. Rudy So
Dr. Rudy So specializes in the functional evaluation of the body through the use of diagnostic muscle testing, acupuncture meridian assessment, physical examination, blood-work, salivary hormone testing and energy work. After gathering as much data as possible, Dr. So will identify the weak links in a patient’s physiology. At this point, Dr. So will structure a treatment plan to return a patient to health using a whole host of different tools including chiropractic adjustments, acupressure, nutritional supplementation, cranial sacral therapy, activator, neuro emotional technique, nutrition response testing, sacro-occipital technique, energy balancing, contact reflex analysis, etc.
Dr. So has attained excellent clinical results with a wide variety of health issues including: acute and chronic pain cases, fatigue, allergies, digestive problems, and hormonal issues. His unique training allows him to approach patient health problems from a different perspective relative to most other health practitioners in the area. His focus is to improve the overall health of his patients, and as a side effect patient’s symptoms tend to improve and eventually disappear. Dr. So graduated with distinction from the University of Michigan school of business back in 1998. After several years working in the corporate financial world, Dr. So decided to find a more rewarding way to spend his life in service of others. As an avid martial artist, Dr. So had experienced several healing miracles at the hands of chiropractors who helped him recover from various sports injuries. He subsequently decided to enroll in chiropractic school at the National University of Health Sciences located in Lombard, IL. After graduation, Dr. So joined the Integrative Health Clinic in Rogers Park to work with his good friend and mentor Mario Gonzalez.
